TONSORE MASTER ACADEMY is based on five haircutting systems & fundamental concepts: focusing on Principles of Bone Structure, Planes of the Head, Reference Points, Elevation, Texture & Formation. You will learn to master the following techniques: tapers, seamless fades, natural styles, precision and freeform haircutting, scissor over comb, clipper over comb, hot lather shaves, shampooing, scissor, clipper and razor cutting. Tonsore Master Academy delivers a hands on experience and cutting edge education. We are honored that you have chosen to start your barber career here, and we look forward to helping you reach your goals as a barber professional.
The Texas Class A Barber Program is 1000 hours in person clocked hours. You can complete the program in as little as 6.5 months full time, which is 40 hours a week. 9 months, which is 30Hours a week, or 12 months which is 20 hours per week.
The Operator to Class A Barber Program is 300 hours for a licensed cosmetologist. You can complete the program 10 weeks which is 30 hours per week or 15 weeks which is 20 hours per week.
Yes, we are currently only offering day classes.
Yes, students are prepared to work on clients.

Tonsore Master Academy does not accept or offer Financial Aid.
School hours are from 9:00 am – 5:30 pm Monday – Friday and closed Saturdays and Sundays, plus Federal Holidays.
Unfortunately all classes are in English.
